On March 15th at the Ohio Superintendents Association annual meeting in Columbus, Ohio representatives from the PersonnelPlus Advisory and Advocacy Council and the Athens Developmental Disabilities Council Center on Public Policy were recognized by Ohio Public Images (OPI) with an Award of Excellence for their efforts in advocating for the Passage of Senate Bill 79, commonly known as the “Name Change” bill.

For over twenty-five years PersonnelPlus has been assisting local folks who have some type of disability to be well trained, dependable and hard working employees. Our relationship with the Athens business community has been one of support and confidence in our employment services.
PersonnelPlus, in partnership with Washington County Pathway’s Initiative and Ohio Rehabilitation Services Commission, will once again be conducting a Summer Youth Employment and Training Program. The program offers area youth who have some type of disability the opportunity to learn a variety of job skills through work and classroom experiences.
