Our services capitalize on the strengths of workers with disabilities by placing workers who are qualified, trained and dependable. At no cost, our professional staff will continue to serve you with future employment needs as well as any retraining that might be needed.

Our Business Services Include:

1. Finding You The Right Worker (Candidate Screening)
Our pool of pre-screened workers allows us to find the most qualified worker for the job. We can customize job placements to meet the specific needs of the employer. This may include but is not limited to flexible work schedules, seasonal work and an array of other requests. Our candidate screening helps eliminate lengthy job searches and costly advertising.

2. Assessing The Job Site (Job Analysis)
If you are not sure your job site is conducive to an employee with a disability, let our trained staff take a few minutes to look over the site and go over the job requirements. Our experienced staff can quickly determine the best way for a prospective worker to do the job. They also will advise you if the job site or job is potentially not a good job match.

3. The Job Tryout
This is one of the best services PersonnelPlus offers employers. This service minimizes your risk in hiring the right candidate. The Job Tryout allows the owner/manager to observe the candidate with a professional Job Trainer on a trial basis. This allows the owner or manager to feel comfortable with the candidate’s performance * BEFORE* making the decision to hire. In addition, PersonnelPlus will *PAY* both the candidate and Job Trainer wages during the Job Tryout and each are covered by our Workers Compensation. If the candidate is hired, Job Training will continue at no cost, until the owner/manager is satisfied with the candidate’s work performance. Now you know why we refer to PersonnelPlus services as no cost, no risk and no obligation!

4. Training Assistance And Follow Along
We know you’re busy and that the training for a worker with a disability might take a little longer. Our Job Trainers first learn the job and then work with your staff and management in training the new candidate or employee. In addition, Job Trainers are trained in creating aids that make it easier for a person to learn their job. This is usually as simple as a picture chart or color-coded keys. Don’t forget, once the Job Trainer discontinues new job training, the business may call the Job Trainer back to the job site to help the worker learn a new task or brush up on an old task. Long after the initial job placement, our staff can be there to assist you.

5. Job Retention Class
We teach people to be good workers for you. Our new PersonnelPlus Job Retention Class was developed after years of trying traditional job club classes. This sensational training is based on the specific needs and past employment challenges of each of the students in the class. Classes usually last for six weeks and include such topics as:

Upon request, PersonnelPlus will provide educational materials and/or in-service training to an employer’s staff regarding people with disabilities. Examples of this training are disability awareness or what to do when you first meet a person with a disability.

8. Job Sampling
Job Sampling provides an employer with a wonderful opportunity to allow an individual to try-out work at their place of employment for a few days. The business does not pay the individual, but provides a chance for a person to have their skills and abilities evaluated. This helps the person and their Job Trainer to assess what the worker can or cannot do and what he or she does or does not like. PersonnelPlus Job Sampling is one of the most popular services provided to people with disabilities that are interested in the world of work.
